Sandringham Food and Drink Festival is a collection of the finest food and drink producers and caterers. National and local producers are brought together to offer the very best in street foods and retail accompanied with a craft village bringing to you a mix of quality artists, designers and craftsmen demonstrating their skills.
The main stage at the Sandringham Food Festival, is where you will find our celebrity chefs with their cookery demonstrations. On Saturday Jack Stein son of Rick Stein and sous chef of The Seafood Restaurant. Jack has also filmed a number TV programmes including ‘Born to Cook’ and ‘Inside the Box’ and ‘Wine, Dine, Stein’ with his brother.
Jo Pratt is known as a TV chef and best selling author and has recently been awarded the Gourmet World Cookbook Award for best fish and seafood cookbook in the UK.
On Sunday sees a return of a Living Heritage favourite, Levi Roots. The phenomenal rise of Rastafarian musician Levi Roots is one of the most heart-warming business success stories to date when his Reggae Reggae Sauce won him fame and fortune on the TV show Dragons Den.
Sebby Holmes has featured on ITV’s The Secret Life our Your House and as a guest on ITV’s This Morning. Known for his love with Thai Food he is sure to cook something exciting and full of flavours. Hosted by the inimitable Mark Lloyd, we also have the Food Roadshow stage, where we have a further line-up of both national and local chefs for you to watch, enjoy and learn from.
We also have live music from a number of local bands and artists, again playing throughout the day for your enjoyment on the designated music stage. This is situated in the middle of our piazza area, where you can relax and buy
food from around the world, or from local producers around the corner, and maybe even try some of the real ales from our Real Ale Marquee, where we have a large variety of local breweries from the East Anglian area.
Puppet shows, as well as other childrens amusements make for a great day out.
The huge food halls at Sandringham Food Festival are just a part of our food festival – but it’s always good to go home with something, and with a try before you buy policy on a lot of the stands, you are sure to enjoy the shopping experience.
