Fiery Jack and His Games Emporium
Fiery Jack, our favourite jester will be back with us, despite causing havoc at last year’s Thame Country Fair. You will see him rowing about the site in his boat with a leaky bottom (or whatever this season’s favourite mode of transport is), or possibly attempting to enter the fun dog show with his pet club, standing on his head while falcons fly over him (so they can’t lay eggs in his hair) or trying to persuade the horse-boarders to let him hitch hike…
You may also be treated to the Fiery Jack Show – featuring juggling from around the world, fire breathing and general silliness!
We are also delighted to have back the fabulous Fiery Jack Games Emporium. A magical oasis is the busy-ness of the show when you can stop and play games from down the ages as well as a few modern day favourites. Try quoits or chess, skittles or giant size jenga. Or maybe something you have never heard of before. There is a team of expert game players on hand to explain the rules and lay down a challenge. And for the more studious you can even read about the history! Popular with both the young and the young at heart, be careful to watch the time or you may find you stayed much longer than you intended! (no extra admission charge – completely free!)
Come and meet Fiery Jack and his friends.
