The team from the Notts and Derby Wine School will be running free wine tasting classes throughout the weekend at Nottingham Food and Drink Festival.
‘We like to teach about wine by concentrating on the flavours and aromas of each example. We look at the wine’s taste profile and explain how the characteristics of the grape can be influenced by the climate and local winemaking styles.
As we do not sell wine, we can show you where to buy the best wines locally and at the best prices. We work with local independent wine merchants as well as national merchants to bring you the best tasting & most interesting wines currently available.
Our Wine Courses are run by owner Debbie Ault. With over 15 years experience working in the hospitality industry Debbie has followed her passion for wine and is now running the wine school!! Debbie also ran courses at our Birmingham Wine School and is has completed her WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits so you are in safe hands! ‘
